Why does Kenny think Mr. Collier would put up 'No Trespassing' signs and make up stories about the Wool Pooh at Collier's Landing? What was Kenny after in the water?

I think he put up the sign and made up the story so he wouldn’t go in that side of the pool to keep the legend going or just plain out scaring people.But my question is what type of person would do that.Also, if the Wool Pooh dragged Kenny down in the water “it” be a “HE!”But if everyone was just playing games then what happen to him under water and why pick a black-curious-12-year old boy to attack?If theres more to the story than were in the heck is it because it doesn’t tell the whole story when it comes to the end, it’s like it’s a mystery.I think the best part of this question is what he was looking for,Umm?Well,he could be trying to find the turtle and then hallucinate from getting strangled and see the angel of Joey’s.Or be looking for the angel then getting strangled by “he”(referring back to Wool Pooh)Also, why would Byron save him and have it as “my pleasure” But the major question is how is Wool Pooh?

DeleteI think that Mr.Collier put up the signs for a VERY good cause. Really it is true. He was probably was a nice man. Why Collier put up those signs to try to save someones life. The “Wool Pooh” really is a real story, I guess. The thing Kenny was looking for after in the water was the sight if “ Joetta, the angle.” under water. I bet Kenny would want to ask someone what it was. I bet if I were Kenny I would go back in to see the angle again.

DeleteI think Kenny thinks Mr. Collier would put up 'No Trespassing' signs and make up stories about the Wool Pooh at Collier's Landing because he either thought he was trying to keep the pool to himself or because he was really trying to warn people. He was trying to keep the pool to himself because Kenny was talking about how nice the pool felt and the dark blue water, so if I was the guy I’d probably try to keep the pool to myself. He was really trying to warn somebody because Kenny did almost drowned so why would he want people not knowing that this isn't a safe area, I just wonder why the turtle or fish didn't go down. I think what Kenny was looking for in the water was the angel who looked like Joetta, because she was pointing at something and Kenny was trying to find what she was pointing to.

I think this because Mr. Collier in my mind looks scary and if he wants the pool to himself ,then why wouldn’t he be swimming in the pool he wants, right? Kenny was after the turtle because he wanted a BIG fish. The turtle went into deeper water and he followed. Then, he went under the water. “Mr. Collier” kept pulling him under.

DeleteI think Mr.collier would but up the signs "NO TRESSPASSING" around the lake is because he wants the lake to himself.I think that Mr.Collier might be the wool pooh.I think that he could be because he does not want to share the lake with anybody else because he really enjoys the lake.I am wondering if Mr.Collier is wool pooh,why would he drown people just to keep the lake private?Is Mr.Collier a bad guy?Or is the wool pooh a real creature that haunts lakes?
